Installation

Three crews. One number to call.

In-house installation for porcelain, natural stone, and engineered hardwood, across the San Francisco Peninsula. Each crew is led by a senior installer with a decade-plus on the trowel, working from a written method statement we draw with you.

What we install

Five disciplines, in-house.

Tile & Stone

Floor & wall tile

Porcelain, ceramic, mosaic, and natural stone — floors, walls, wet rooms, and accent installations. Large-format up to 120×240 cm.

Floors

Engineered hardwood & solid

Wide-plank engineered, solid hardwood, parquet patterns, and herringbone. Floating, glue-down, and nail-down methods.

Wet Rooms

Showers & tub surrounds

Schluter Kerdi, Wedi, and traditional mortar-bed waterproofing. Linear drains, curbless transitions, sloped subfloors.

Heated Floors

Radiant underfloor

Electric mat, in-screed PEX hydronic, and dry build-up systems. Coordinated with your tile or wood install.

Slab Work

Stone slabs & counters

Stone-slab walls, vanity tops, and shower benches cut to a designer's drawing. Templated, fabricated, installed.

Outdoor

Terraces & pool decks

20 mm structural porcelain on pedestal systems, mortar-set stone, and integrated drainage for outdoor living.

How a job runs

Five steps from walk-through to closeout.

Site walk

A senior installer attends the site or reviews the plans, identifies substrate and waterproofing risks, and writes them down.

Method statement

A written method statement: substrate prep, membrane spec, thinset, grout joint, sequence. Signed by you and the lead installer.

Mock-up

A small mock-up panel before the floor goes down: tile layout, grout colour, transition. Cheaper to redo on a panel than on a kitchen.

Install

The crew lays the floor or wall, the studio manager checks daily, and the senior installer runs the punch list.

Installation FAQ

Before you book a crew.

How far ahead should I book installation?
Eight to twelve weeks for the senior crews on multi-room jobs; two to four for single-bath or floor refresh. We try not to overbook — you'll get an honest schedule, not a wishful one.
Do you provide written warranties?
Yes. A two-year labour warranty on all installation, plus the manufacturer's material warranty. Claims are handled by the same studio manager who scheduled your install.
Can I be on-site during the install?
Yes — many of our clients are. We ask only that you give the crew a clear lane to work; the daily walk-through is when questions are best raised.
What if I want a custom pattern or layout?
Bring it. Herringbone, chevron, pinwheel, mixed-format — we'll mock it up at full size, calculate waste honestly, and quote it accordingly.
