Cookie Policy
Last reviewed 14 February 2026.
This page lists the cookies the datumly.pro site sets and explains, in plain language, what each one does. We believe in keeping the list short.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of data a website asks your browser to store on your device. It can be read back the next time you visit, allowing the site to remember things like your preferences. There are also "local storage" entries, which work similarly. We use both.
The cookies we set
Strictly necessary
These cookies and storage entries are required for the site to function. They cannot be disabled.
- PHPSESSID — session cookie used to maintain a CSRF token while you fill in the contact form. Expires when you close the browser.
- datumly_consent_v1 — local-storage entry recording your cookie-consent choice so we don't show the banner on every visit. Stored on your device only.
Analytics (optional)
If you accept these, we use a privacy-first analytics service to count page views and understand which journal entries are read. The service does not set tracking cookies and does not store IP addresses in identifiable form.
- _pa_session — first-party session token used to attribute a series of page views to a single visit. Expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Marketing
We don't run third-party advertising or marketing cookies on this site. The list, today, is empty.
Managing your choice
You can change your consent at any time by clicking the small cookie icon in the lower-right corner of any page. You can also clear cookies and local storage from your browser's settings; doing so will reset our consent record and you'll be asked again on your next visit.
Browser settings
Most browsers let you block cookies entirely or selectively. The trade-off is that some sites — not ours — will stop working. For Chrome, look under Settings → Privacy and Security. For Safari, Preferences → Privacy. For Firefox, Settings → Privacy & Security.
